PulseX – Preparing Pulse/Pulse+ for our Plug-in

Configure Waldorf Pulse / Pulse+ settings – Complete Tutorial.

First we need to make sure the hardware is ready to communicate with the software. In order to do so, we need to make sure that some pre-required settings are set accordingly.

Plug your MIDI cables to the MIDI device and Audio Jacks to your mixer / soundcard.
MIDI out from synth to MIDI device in and vice versa. No MIDI thru or other ports.

Fire up your Pulse / Pulse+. Our plug-in is designed to work “out of the box” and control all parameters from single plug-in instance.

After Pulse is powered up, enter Global settings and apply following settings.

  • Global MIDI chan = we prefer to set this at channel 1.
  • Device ID = 0.

All set! We are now ready to configure our DAW!

To get more information about how to adjust your synth, read the Waldorf Pulse / Pulse+ User Manual. Below you will find some screenshots of the Pulse / Pulse+ User Manual pages.
